Lupe Hernandez

Lupe Hernandez 9/28/1952 – 2/19/2021 Lupe went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 19th, at the age of 68. He was a quiet man with a huge heart. He was loved by many. He will always be remembered as a steady calm in the storm. He had a heart of gold and would never hesitate to help anyone in need. He showed his heart and his love for the Lord in everything he did. His sense of humor would shine through and brighten the day of anyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Lupe worked for 19 years at Riverside Elementary as head custodian and loved his kids and teachers. He was a member of, and served, at Bridgepoint Church for 36 years. He was passionate about loving God, loving people where they were, and helping them follow Jesus. His wife, Sharon, was the light of his life. They spent 43 years together. His kids and grandkids were his pride and joy. He loved them dearly and was so proud of them all. Lupe was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, one brother, and his daughter, Faith Marie. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Hernandez. His children, Lupita (Kerry), Jessica (Ryan), Tyrone, and Aleana. His grandchildren, Kyle, Makenzie, Aiden, Caleb, Tristyn, Brittany, Camille, Daniel, Logan, Mason, and Braden. His brothers and sisters, Rosie, Jesse (Shelly), George (DJ), Sally, Bella (Mondo), Frank, Paula (Tony), Johnny (Susanne), as well and many nieces and nephews. Lupe was truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed. Services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at 11:00 am at Bridgepoint Church. 2530 Broadway Ave, Boise, ID 83706.
