Luz Vitug Ramirez

In loving memory of Dr. Luz Vitug Ramirez who entered the gates of heaven on March 26th surrounded by family and friends. She was a loving, caring doctor who was always willing to put others before herself. Dr. Luz, as many of us knew her, was an amazing woman who was devoted to her family, friends, patients and God. She was a strong, intelligent and independent entrepreneur who loved practicing medicine and had the perfect balance of being a wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, cousin, boss and friend. Survived by her husband, Dr. Frank A. Ramirez, Jr., her daughters and their husbands, Teresa and Robert Jacobsen, Bella and Jeff Taylor, and Rachel and John Adams, her son and daughter-in-law Francisco and Joy Ramirez, and son and fiancée Honesto Ramirez and Danyell Hickey. Grandchildren Kristen, Katelyn and Hannah Jacobsen, Abigail and Sophia Ramirez, Tyler Adams and great grandson, Noah Jawdat. Her laugh and soul will be eternally missed. Ramirez's life on Thursday, March 29th from 1pm-5pm at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (9400 Indian Springs Road, Punta Gorda, FL 33950). Mass will be held at 11am on Friday, March 30th at St. Charles Borromeo (21505 Augusta Avenue, Port Charlotte, FL 33952) and entombment at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens will follow after mass.
