Lyane Edith Hutton-Mitchick was called home by the Lord on March 1, 2019. She was born July 1, 1928 in Basel, Switzerland and moved to the United States in 1946 and became a naturalized citizen. She was fluent in seven languages. In 1994 she married her husband of 25 years, John while residing in Midland, Texas. Her love of the mountains brought them to Colorado Springs where they have resided since 2013. She enjoyed opera and classical music, tennis and spending time with her beloved dog Heidi. She is survived by her husband, John Mitchick. Daughters Janet Martin, Nancy Bruno, and Peggy Solum and step-daughter Barbara Wolff. Grandchildren Amber Combs, Kristen Taber, Julie Papa, Todd Baldwin, Wendi Baldwin, Patrick Solum, Matt Solum, Jenna Stanton, Susan Pietz, Michelle Bigenho, Sherry Tunks and 19 great-grandchildren.
