Lydia Vigil

Lydia Vigil, 80, a lifelong resident of Ranchitos, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2020. She was preceded in death by parents, Francisco and Gregorita Marquez, and brother Robert Marquez. Lydia was a beloved homemaker, mother, wife and friend to many. Throughout her life, she enjoyed traveling with family and visiting with friends. Lydia will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. She was a beloved friend to many. She is survived by her former husband and long-time best friend Antonio Vigil, her two sons, Harold Vigil (Elaine), Henry Vigil (Maggie), brothers Leo, Frank, and Leroy Marquez, sisters Rebecca Caudill and Carmel Marquez, and numerous other nephews, nieces, and other loving relatives and friends. The Vigil family would like thank Dr. Mario Pacheco, nursing home staff at Santa Fe Care Center, and Hospice Nurses for all the wonderful care, compassion, and love they provided for our mom. A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Riverside Funeral Home of Santa Fe Chapel.
