LYLE R. SCHULD, 73, of Jefferson passed away February 2, 2015 at Willowbrook Nursing Home in Lake Mills. Lyle was born on December 10, 1941, son of the late Linus and Adeline "Hattie" (Veith) Schuld. He married Susan Haubenschild on September 28, 1963. She preceded him in death on May 22, 1980. Lyle then married Margaret Gibson on July 28, 1990. She preceded him in death on October 13, 2011. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he was employed by Stoppenbach for numerous years - retiring in 2003. Lyle was a member of the American Legion Post 164 Reinhardt-Windl of Jefferson. He was well known for his love of a good cigar, watching sports, playing euchre, and visiting with friends at local restaurants. Jodi, the family dog, also gave him much joy and comfort. He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren grow, and recently welcomed his first great grandchild into the family. He will be deeply missed by his family: Daughters; Lisa Schuld of Jefferson, Rebecca Schuld of Janesville, Heidi (Adam) Krause of Jackson. Son; Scott Schuld, of Columbus, NE. Step children, five grandchildren: Ashley Schuld, Bradly (Deanna) Will, Kendra Fleck, Faith Dill-Schuld, and Hayden Krause. One great-granddaughter, Trinity Fleck. Sister-in-law Doris Schuld of Jefferson, Brother-in-law David Barnes of Jefferson. Lyle is also preceded in death by sisters Inez Barnes, Eileen Schuld and brothers Lester Schuld, Merlin Schuld, Eugene Schuld. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday February 7, 2015 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Jefferson with Pastor Richard Akins officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery in spring. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Services.
