Lyle Arthur Stackhouse

A much-loved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather, son, brother and uncle, Lyle Arthur Stackhouse, 77, of Denver, Colorado passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 27, 2019. Lyle was born on October 14, 1941, to Howard and Dora Stackhouse, in North Platte, Nebraska. He was raised in Greeley and Denver, Colorado. Lyle worked as a truck driver and in the plumbing industry. On August 12, 1972, Lyle welcomed his son, Daniel Stackhouse. On August 15, 1981, Lyle married the love of his life, Mary Ellen Woods. Together they shared many memories with their family going camping at Colorado Heights, Mary's Lake and the Colorado Mountains, attending the races and enjoying family celebrations. Lyle dedicated his life to providing for his family and making sure they could always count on him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard Stackhouse and Dora Evans, step-father Red Evans, brother Leon Stackhouse, sister Cleo Stackhouse and son Daniel Stackhouse. He is survived by his wife Mary Stackhouse, daughter Teresa (Tom) Fischer, son Larry (Anna) Caywood, daughter Maria (Alvin) Brown. daughter Laura (Chris) Denning, brother Cecil (Juanita) Stackhouse, brother in law Steve (Sharon) Woods, brother in law Ernie Magana, grandchildren Deanna Dryer (Monte James), Allen (Bridgett) Dryer, Katie (Michael) Aragon, Lisa (Neil McGlew) Caywood, Amber (Matt) McHugh, MaKenzie Wilson, MaKayla Wilson, MaKenna Brown, Skyler Brown, Amanda Durand, Nicholas Dugard, Carol McClelland, Kayleen (Corbin) Williams, William Denning, great grandchildren Kayla Edmondson, Thomas Dryer, Hannah Dryer, Tanner Dryer, Michael Aragon, Alexis Smith, Cody McGlew, KaDen McGlew, Mason McHugh, Joshua Durand, Audrianna Durand, Annaleaha Durand, Daisy Dugard, Natalie Dugard, Leland Williams, Brenden Williams, and great great grandson Sylas Edmondson and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be Friday, Febuary 01, 2019 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 900 W. Midway; Broomfield, CO 80020 at 11:30. Viewing will be at the church prior to the service from 10:30 to 11:30.
