Born: Cleveland, Ohio, 15 July 1946 Left this world for a better place: 24 May, 2019 after a short hospital stay. Best Friend and Wife to Edward (and he admits She was better than he deserved.) Sister to Sally and Kent, (by marriage, but who cares) Mother to Will, Grandmother to Rebecca, (Unofficial) Adopted Mother or mother figure to: Terry, Shauna, Thomas, Brett, Edward B and the others, you know who you are and were loved. Big Sister figure to: Wally, Shane, Les, and a large number of others. They also know who they are. EMT, Nurse (now running Dr. D’s office again?), Insurance adjuster (Construction Defect Litigation Management!) Volunteer at the Brazoria National Refuge, a part of the Texas Midcoast Refuge system 1991 through 2016. Birder and Education Volunteer. Known as Grid Queen Mum of the driver of the Mommy Mobile to SCCA and PCA (Ferrairstang??) Licensed at one time or another in Flagging and Communication, Grid, Sound Control, Crew, Registrar Seneshal for the Shire of the Torrie de los Brazos, Barony of the Stargate, Kingdom of Ansteorria, Society for Creative Anachronism (AoA, Sable Comet of Ansteorria) If you decide you want to do something to memoralize her please donate to: Friends of the Brazoria Wildlife Refuges Your LOCAL Audubon Society Your favorite charity in her name. Following family tradition, her ashes will be scattered locally. A memorial party will be held on the weekend after her birthday in July at a location to be determined.
