Lynda Lee Lilly
August 12th, 1953 - October 18th, 2020
Lynda Lee Lilly, 67, died peacefully with her family surrounding her early Sunday morning on October 18 at her home in Longmont, Colorado after a long battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 5th, 1:00 at Foundations Church, 1380 N Denver Ave, Loveland, CO 80537. A private burial service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery at a later date. Lynda was born in Wausau, Wisconsin on August 12, 1953 to Leonard Joe Cota and Margert Mae (McCabe) Cota. Lynda and her husband, Jimmy were married June 18, 1988 in California and moved to Colorado in 1990. Lynda is survived by her husband of 32 years, 2 children (Shannon and Neil), 2 step-children (Ryan and Shalene), daughter-in-law (Deanna), two sons-in-law (Brent and Steve), 13 grandchildren (Skylar (Nick), Dalton, Dawson, Maxden, Ellerie, Christian, Ashlyn, Steven (Miranda), Jasmine, Samuel, Jordan, Nathan, and Josephine) and 2 great-granddaughters (Marie and Serina), sister (Janet) and nephew (Latt) and many, many, more—she had many children, brothers and sisters which she took under her wing and called family. Lynda is preceded in death by her parents, her brother (Jackie) and grandson (Joey). Lynda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, a nationally competitive pool player and bowler. She retired in 2018 and loved riding her Harley with her husband across the country. In the past two months, they rode 4400 miles across 13 states, living life while visiting family and friends. She will be loved and missed by many. Anyone who knew her will forever be grateful to have had her in their lives.
