November 24th, 1955 - April 19th, 2013
Lynn Derby Van Lear Rockledge, Florida Lynn Derby Van Lear 57, of Rockledge, Florida was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus on April 19, 2013 She is survived by her parents, Curt and Midge Derby; Lynn’s husband of 38 years, John Van Lear and their daughters, Andrea Van Lear Arbour and Leslie Van Lear Thimmes, and two grandsons. Lynn is also survived by her sister Hillary derby Hughes and brother Daniel Derby. Lynn was a 1974 graduate of Coshocton High School , a Vietnam-era veteran in the United States Army and was employed at the Kennedy Space Center for 27 years as a configuration Management Analyst on the United States Space Shuttle fleet. Lynn was an active member of the First Baptist church of Merritt Island and a licensed C N A . In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the First Baptist church of Merritt Island. Family will receive friends Monday, April 22, 2013 from 4-6pm at First Baptist Church of Merritt Island where funeral services will follow at 6:00PM.
