Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. ****** Lynne Marie Smith, 62, of Parker, CO, Entered into Heaven on April 3, 2020. Wife of Harry Smith. Mother of Hannah. Daughter of Paul Supan. Sister of Pamela Salinas and Marilyn Supan. Lynne worked her way thru college waitressing at the 'South' in Englewood. and went to work for a mortgage company upon graduation. She was very proud of her work with the Resolution Trust Company, helping the country survive the Savings and Loan crisis of the early 90's. While there she specialized in accounting system conversions which became her passion and served her well thru the balance of her carreer. During the last 20 years Lynne worked in the insurance industry, again specializing in system conversions and her work and knowledge were in great demand. Lynne, Harry and Hannah belonged to Ave Maria Catholic Parish in Parker CO, where Hannah also attended elementary school. Lynne was fascinated with the petrified wood which can be found when foundations are being excavated in the Pinery, or in some cases just poking up from the ground when the surrounding soils are washed away by storms. The petrified wood dates from some 65 million years ago and Lynne's collection lines our driveway and surrounds our home. A few pieces were placed in the back yard, and her loving husband accused her of starting her own Stone Henge... Lynne will be greatly missed by Harry and Hannah, her surviving family and friends from school, work and church.
