Velasquez, Mabel Collazo, 81, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Bayfront Medical Center. Born in New York, NY, she attended North East Park Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and America Vargas. She is survived by two daughters: Nancy Diane Irizarry and Sandra Marie Mone', both St. Petersburg, FL; a son: Richard Joseph Collazo, Orlando, FL; a sister: Ruth Cruz, New York, NY; Seven(7) Grandsons: Kenneth, Jason, Michael, Jonathan, Vinni, Anthony, and Richard,Jr.; Four (4) Granddaughters: Jessica, Isa, Natasha, and Samantha; and many Great Grandchildren. There will be a Public Visitation from 1PM - until Services at 4PM on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Anderson-McQueen (NESP) - Heritage Hall, 2201-Dr. M.L. King Street North, St. Petersburg. Family prefers memorial donations to New Destiny International Church.
