Mable J. Lofland
June 18th, 1927 - August 15th, 2019
"Granby - Mable J. (Tucker) Lofland, 92, died on August 15, 2019. Born June 18, 1927 in Springfield, she was the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Worthington) Tucker. Mable has lived in Granby since 1951, previously of Belchertown. She worked in the food service department at Hampshire College as a cook. Mable was a Scout Leader and member of the American Legion. She loved to quilt and craft and her masterpieces were often raffled off by the church. She was an active member of the Church of Christ in Granby and will be dearly missed by her children, Charles Lofland of Granby, Betty Warner of VT, Barbara Lofland of Belchertown, Robert Lofland of CA along with 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Besides her husband Richard W. Lofland, Mable was predeceased by her six siblings. Visitation will be Wednesday Aug. 21st from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home with a service to begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt.
