Online Obituaries for Versailles KY VERSAILLES- Madeline Thurman Woolums, 91, died Thursday, March 2, 2017. She was born on March 30, 1925 to the late Wallace and Lillie Harlow Thurman. Ms. Woolums retired from Texas Instruments with 27 years of service and was a member of Kingsway Assembly of God. She is preceded in death by Harry L. Woolums, Jr. and their son, Ray Woolums. She is survived by her children, Wayne (Sondra) Woolums, Versailles, Kathy (George) Morrow, SC, Judy (Barron) Brown, Versailles and Jo Ann (Larry) Sallee, Versailles; her sisters, Lorene Iacano, GA, Margaret (Ambrose) Jones, Versailles and Martha Wright, Versailles; her brother, Wallace Sonny (Jean) Thurman, Versailles; daughter in law, Patricia Woolums, Shelbyville; 9 grandchildren, Travis Woolums, Kristi Jennings, Rhonda Lewis, Russ Morrow, Shane Pulliam, Joe Pulliam, Blake Pulliam, Deanna Sallee and Brittany Monroe; and 16 great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Dylan Woolums, Austin and Madison Jennings, Lauren Lewis, Brandon Batson, Madeline, Andrew, Curtis, Ava and Ivy Pulliam, Lilli Bicknell, Jackson Pierce, Hayden, Kyze and Eli Monroe. She is also survived by many special cousins, nieces, nephews, and a very special friend, Viola Markwell. She lived her life with the devotion and strength she received from God and her legacy will forever be in our hearts. She will be missed greatly but her destination is heavenly for certain. Funeral Information Funeral Service will be 5pm Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill. Rev. Brad Jennings and Wayne Woolums will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 2pm until the time of service. Burial will be 11am Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Travis Woolums, Russ Morrow, Shane Pulliam, Joe Pulliam, Blake Pulliam, Jason Monroe, Jonathan Pierce, Lilli Bicknell and Austin Jennings. Honorary casketbearers will be Wallace Sonny Thurman, Dr. Dale Goodin, Larry Sallee, Barron Brown, George Morrow, Sondra Woolums, Patricia Woolums and David Lewis.
