Madge Hume, age 96, passed away peacefully in the hospital in Olympia on September 21, 2024. She was born in Vancouver BC on September 8, 1928.
Madge graduated from Olympia High School in 1946, attended Seattle University, then was a stewardess for United Airlines. She married Dale Hume on June 2, 1951, and was happily married for 66 years. Dale predeceased Madge in 2017. She loved her family more than anything else.
Madge is survived by her sons, Mike, Greg, and Tim; and her beautiful granddaughters, Cait and Lilli.
Madge requested a family Mass and private graveside service for her ashes to be buried in her mother’s plot at Calvary Cemetery. She suggested memorials be made to your favorite charity.
