Madhava Naidu Lekkalapudi
May 1st, 1951 - August 9th, 2024
Madhava Naidu Lekkalapudi, 73, from Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, India passed away on Aug 9, 2024 at AdventHealth Heart of Florida Hospital in Davenport, Florida. He was born on May 1, 1951 in Venkatapuram, India to Ademma and Rama krishnama Naidu Lekkalapudi.
Coming from a humble farmer family, Madhava cherished his bond with his siblings being the youngest of the family. He used to help in family farming chores and also worked hard for his education with support of his siblings. He graduated M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from SVU University in 1975.
His passion for spirituality started a journey with his holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi ji and traveled across India as TM (Transcendental Meditation) Initiator. On Jun 21, 1981 he married Padmini Devi Adusumilli and was blessed with two daughters - Jahnavi and Navya sree. He loved to travel, meet and interact with people, and be a strong pillar in his community.
His interest in nurturing young minds drove him to Maharshi Bala Mandir and Maharshi Vidya Mandir institutions in Chittoor from 1981. Later in 1990, he founded Girvani Educational Trust and established primary school, secondary school and Degree College. He had an imminent role in helping thousands of young minds to greater heights with value based education with yoga and meditation practices. He believed that, "There is no such thing as a bad student. We need to provide a better environment, training and practices to motivate them".
His constant quest for spirituality drove him towards Sahaj Marj and Heartfulness practices. He explored other spiritual paths like Ramakrishna Matt, Pyramid Meditation, and many others. He believed in the necessity of a natural way of living in sync with good food, healthy body and pure heart and clear mind. He always jumped at the opportunity to try out new things in his journey - Naturopathy, Acu Touch.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers - Narasimhula Naidu, Bhaskara Naidu, Ethirajulu Naidu, Ramachandra Naidu, Ananda Naidu. He is survived by his sister - Santhamma, wife - Padmini, daughters - Jahnavi and Navya sree, Son in laws - Bharath and Mastan Rao and grandchildren - Nandini, Shankar and Yashasvi and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a strong support system for his extended family as well.
We as a family cherish his life journey and with a heavy heart bid farewell to him.
