Miss Madison Nicole Coffman, age 19, a resident of Auburndale, Florida passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. Madison was born July 28, 2004 in Lakeland, Florida to Charles Wayne Coffman, Jr. and Debbie Lee (Curtis) Slater. She was a lifetime Polk County resident and attended Discovery High School. Madison enjoyed writing, drawing, collecting figures (Japanese Anime), all types of music, talent shows, pageants and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents – Charles & Joyce Coffman; maternal grandmother – Donna Curtis and cousins – Tasha Coffman & Bobby Havlik. Madison is survived by her loving & devoted family, parents – Charles & Debbie; 4 brothers – Colby Scott, Stephen Slater, Jared Coffman & Jason Coffman; 2 sisters – Jessica ____ & Jessica Coffman; maternal grandfather – Richard Curtis; 4 month old nephew – Camryn Jaxon Slater; several aunts, uncles & cousins. A celebration of Madison’s life will be held 4:00 pm Thursday, August 31st at Kersey Funeral Home.
