Madonna "Donna" R. Seamars Bruno
March 20th, 1930 - November 4th, 2013
Madonna R. Seamars Bruno, of Oconomowoc, passed away Monday, November 4, 2013, at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 83 years. She was born in West Allis, WI on March 20, 1930, the daughter of Joseph and Gertrude (Weller) Fritz. On April 17, 2010, at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Donna was united in marriage to John G. Bruno. Madonna is a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, associate member Waukesha Elks Lodge #400, a member of the Watertown Elks Lodge #666 and a life time Ladies Auxillary member of the Waukesha V.F.W. Post #721. She was a past member of St. William Catholic Church where she had been a member of the Christian Mothers. Madonna loved all sports, especially bowling, skiing, football and bingo. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving is her loving husband John, children; Keith (Betsy) Seamars of Cordova, TN. and Kent Seamars and fiancée, Robin Goessling of Whitewater, WI, four grandchildren; Robert (Katy) Seamars, Joshua Seamars, Katie (Rick) Mendoza, Amy (Adam) Kreitzer, and one great-grandson; Nathan. Also surviving are four step-children; John W. (Cindy) Bruno of Kenosha, Karen (Bob) Sherry of Wauwatosa, Steve (Laurie) Bruno of Oconomowoc, WI, Jeff (Kim) Bruno of Foothills, CA, and thirteen step-grandchildren. Donna is further survived by sisters; Mildred Wehr of Milwaukee, WI, Carol Etteldorf of Union Grove, WI, and Jeanette (Bill) Sullivan of TX, brothers; Joseph (Jane) Fritz of Wausaukee, WI and Raymond (Bev) Fritz of Trenton, TX. and by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband; Robert Seamars, a brother; Eugene Fritz and a sister; Irene Garbe. The visitation for Madonna will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. (NOON) Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, November 8, 2013 at St. Bruno Catholic Church, located at 226 W. Ottawa Avenue, Dousman, Wisconsin 53118. Fr. Ralph Gross will be officiating. A committal service will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, S22 W22890 E. Broadway, Waukesha, WI 53186. (Please meet in front of the cemetery chapel). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Donna may be given to AngelsGrace Hospice W359 N7430 Brown Street, Cty. Hwy. P, Oconomowoc, WI, 53066, St. Bruno Catholic Church, 226 W. Ottawa Avenue, Dousman, WI, 53188 or to the Elks National Foundation, 2750 North Lakeview Avenue, Chicago, IL, 60614-2256.
