Mangala (“Asha”) Lele, 73, wife of Diwakar Lele, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019. She was born in India to the late Dhundiraj and Pramila Bedekar on November 20, 1945. Mrs. Lele was a seamstress for Union Underwear and also worked at Unisys. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Abhay (Amy Johnson) Lele, NY; grandchildren, Kaya Lele and Kiran Lele; daughter-in-law, Pallavi Lele, MD; brother, Anand (Madhavi) Bedekar, India; nephew, Manish (Smita) Bedekar, CA and great-niece, Roma Bedekar and great-nephew Rohan Bedekar; nephew, Manoj (Aditi) Bedekar, India; niece Smita (Tanmoy) Ganguly, MA and great-nephew, Alok Ganguly; and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces in the U.S. and India. She was preceded in death by her son, Vijay Lele. Private Services were held.
