LEON, Manilla, 97, of Tampa, passed away April 3, 2016. She was born in Bell, FL and moved to Tampa in the 1940's. She was an upholstery seamstress. She was a member of East Tampa Christian. She loved her family, enjoyed church and was an avid Tampa Bay Rays Fan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Leon in 1994. She is survived by four daughters, Linda Sturgeon (Bob), Glenda Carter (Curtis), Paula Kulpit and Sherry Leon; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; extended church family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to East Tampa Christian Church. A memorial service will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at East Tampa Christian Church.
