Manuel loved to work and took great pride in his masonry work. He established MB&R Masonry with his brothers Bennie and Rudy. Manuel eventually took over the company and continued to employ family and teach the trade to family and his sons Herman, Anthony, and Alfredo. Manuel's business was very successful and had a great reputation in Colorado. He worked on various projects to include some of the most luxurious custom-built homes in Denver's exclusive and luxurious Polo Grounds community Manuel was a professional musician who played Denver's night clubs since he was very young (fudging about his age). He played on different television programs, Cinco de Mayo Fiesta every year, private parties for the wealthy, and countless out of town events Manuel passed on the musical training provided by his father, relatives, and friends of old, as is the tradition. He passed it forward, teaching his children and other family members, along with anyone who expressed their interest and love for music. Manuel played many string instruments with proficiency and was quite accomplished. He played professionally until 2014, at the age of 85 years. His music had always been next to God and his family. He brought boundless joy to our family. Manuel supported his family quite well using all his talents. His family described him as a very proud, loving, and caring man, a perfectionist never settling for anything less than perfection. He applied these traits to his work, music, and family. He earned the respect of the entire family which he would do anything for. "Familia" was what he lived for. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was the patriarch of our family. We are extremely proud of him and all his accomplishments! We will miss you and the loving care you gave us. Thank you for the memories! We love you! Godspeed to our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, friend! "Masking is strongly encouraged but not required."
