Manuel C. “Manny” Machado, 91 passed away on February 3, 2021 at his residence in Springfield. He was born on August 6, 1929 in Lemoore, California to parents John and Palmira (nee’ Rocha) Machado. He married Belma Ann Coehlo in 1950 before he was drafted into the U.S. Army. After he was discharged in 1952 Manny and and Belma moved to Cypress, CA and there they raised their family. Manny retired from the ABC School District in California in 1989 and the family settled in Springfield, OR Belma predeceased Manny in 2006. Manny is survived by his three children, Victoria Machado of Eugene, OR Karen Machado Quintana of Corona, CA and David Machado of Springfield, OR he has six Grandchildren and six great grandchildren. There will be a private entombment at Springfield Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Springfield Memorial Funeral Home.
