Manuel E. Uribe passed away at the age of 77 on the 5th of January 2024. He was born in Guadalajara, Mexico on January 13, 1946 to Manuel Uribe and Marina Enriquez. Manuel was a skilled mechanic who worked at Merrill Farms. He was a man who could fix anything. He was also an avid hunter who enjoyed camping and riding his motorcycle. He loved spending time with his family and numerous grandchildren and he always enjoyed a good book. Manuel was preceded in death by his wife, Consuelo Uribe. He is survived by his children, Manuel Jr., Corina (Mike), Adriana (Dan), Dennis (Stella), Michael (Emily), and numerous grandchildren. His visitation will be on Monday, January 15th from 1pm-6pm at Healey Mortuary with a Rosary Service at 5pm. His Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, January 16th at 10am at Madonna Del Sasso followed by burial at Garden of Memories in Salinas.

He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area.
