Maralene "Kay" Howell born June 18, 1951 in Hays, Kansas to Daniel and Jenny Pfaff, went to be with the Lord on May 2nd, 2017 after a battle with cancer. She spent her younger years in Kansas and Colorado. Maralene, known as Kay to family and friends, lived in Gallup, New Mexico for over 30 years. Kay leaves behind two sons, her brother Richard Pfaff and her sister Leona "Pfaff" Thompson, many nieces and nephews, and a host of special friends in Gallup. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be announced. Interment will be in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado beside her parents. Arrangements entrusted to: Riverside Funeral Home 225 San Mateo NE (505)764-9663.
