Marc Bourgeois

Marc Bourgeois Of Waukesha, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2011 at St. Luke's medical Center in Milwaukee at the age of 59 years. Marc was born on June 29, 1951 in Canada, the son of Leonard and Maria Bourgeois. He married the love of his life Kay (nee Kraus) in December of 1974. Marc owned and operated Greand-Gigue Development Company where he and his sons worked together. Marc worked throughout the Southeastern WI area. He enjoyed playing racquet ball, riding his recumbent bike and walking. Marc will be remembered for being a people person, always talking to everyone. Most of all Marc loved spending time with his family. Marc will be sadly missed by his wife of 36 years, Kay; his children, Marc (Kristin) Bourgeois, Anastasia (Gabriel) Young, Benjamin Bourgeois, Dominque Bourgeois, Philippe Bourgeois and Gabriel Bourgeois; grandchildren Ari, Madeline and Kylie; siblings Christine (Brenden) Bourgeois, Affred (Jaceline) Bourgeois, Rose-Marie (Larry) Thompson, Marguerite (Glenn) Scheff, Richard (Doreen) Bourgeois, Bernadette (Charles) Gallant, Marie Gazzaniga, Jean-Paul (Nicole) Bourgeois, Bernard (Jeanie) Bourgeois, Jacinthe Bourgeois and Leonard Bourgeois; sisters-in-law, Kathryn (David) Halterman, Karen (Joseph) Kokan, Karla (Robert) Hanson and Kamille (Albert) Wilkinson. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. The funeral service for Marc will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at Elmbrook Church 777 S. Barker Rd. Brookfield, WI. The visitation will be on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of 1:00 p.m. service at the church. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Luke's Medical Center C.V.I.C.U for the care and compassion they showed Marc and his family.
