Doud, Marcella M. passed away peacefully on February 4, 2018 in Tucson, AZ. Born in a farmhouse in Adair County Iowa on June 23, 1931. She attended a one room schoolhouse through 8th grade and graduated from Menlo High School in Menlo, Iowa. She worked in the Iowa State Auditor's office until she met and married her husband Charles, a marriage that lasted 67 years. She was preceded in death by her parents Valley Starr and Irene Starr; sister-in-law, Mary Starr and niece Valerie Starr. She is survived by her husband, Charles of Oro Valley, AZ; son, Michael (Michelle) of Ennis, MT; son Gregory (Kristy) of McAllister, MT; daughter, Maureen (Bruce) Enger of Oro Valley, AZ; son, Patrick (Teresa) of Tempe, AZ; daughter, Marianne of Portland, OR; brother, Dean Starr of Raymore, MO and seven grandchildren. There will be a visitation and rosary on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Adair Funeral Homes-Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave in Oro Valley. Funeral Mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Santa Catalina Catholic Church in Catalina, AZ. Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery.
