Marcella Mary Smith
August 24th, 1935 - June 27th, 2021
Marcella Mary Smith (Zokovitch) went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ Sunday, June 27, 2021. Upon arrival, Marcella was greeted by her loving husband Joseph Edward Smith, her sons Joseph and Edward, her parents Mary and John Zokovitch, her granddaughters Kristin Krull and Mackenzie Smith, her brother Robert (Ann Marie) Zokovitch, and many other relatives and friends who were overjoyed at her arrival. Marcella was born in the coal mine town of Stockton, in Lucerne County, PA. She was a 1952 graduate of Hazelton High School. Marcella made Philadelphia, PA her home from 1955 until 2018 when she relocated to Viera, Florida, where she resided with her daughter and family until her death. Her life-long passion was her family. Marcella will be greatly missed by her daughters Suzanne (Phil) Krull and Marcella La Medica, her brother John (Cathy) Zokovitch, her grandchildren Drew (Sarah) and Jessica Krull, Kristin La Medica, Haley and Caitlin Smith, and her many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A viewing will be held on Friday, July 9th from 10-11am at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 5560 Harbison Avenue, Philadelphia, PA followed by a mass of Christian burial at 11am. The family wishes to thank Hospice of Health First, Melbourne. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Health First, 1131 W New Haven Ave, West Melbourne, FL 32904
