November 13th, 1938 - August 28th, 2024
Marco Antonio Ortega 85 of Colorado Springs passed away on August 22, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born in Managua, Nicaragua on November 13, 1938.
He leaves his cherished memories to wife Jill C. Ortega, his children Danna (Glen) and Marco (Linda), 6 grandchildren, their spouses and several great grandchildren. He leaves behind his brother Julio and many other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Tamara.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Springs Funeral Services (3115 E. Platte Ave Colorado Springs 80909) on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 10am.
All guests are encouraged to wear purple as it was Marcos favorite color and share words of remembrance.
Since purple was Marcos favorite color, the family requests that floral arrangements sent include purple or forsythias.
He will be missed by all.
