You welcomed me like a daughter and I have always loved you for that warmth. I miss you and am sending all of my love and prayers to your family as I know they are hurting without their matriarch. I met Linda when she attended my watercolor class, so happy that I got to introduce her to watercolor painting.   She was one of my favorite students because she just jumped in and painted and was not afraid to take a risk to see if something worked, fearless!    I will miss her very much.  <3

I will miss my aunt Linda so much I hope she knows I look forward to the day cause i absolutely will see you when I get there . Memories of your voice still soothe me to this day I have always remembered our talks out on the steps in the studebacker house . I am so sad I didn’t keep regular contact with you it’s a terrible character trait I developed somewhere the years have been both good and bad to my when they are bad I don’t seem to reach out much . I am hoping some how you will always know that I have written this and that you have always been in my heart

Stephanie, you were an awesome co-worker and a true friend to everyone in the center and throughout the company.  My heart goes out to your family and especially your daughter Heather.  I will always miss you and love you Stephanie.  You are the most selfless person that I have ever met and the world will always be a better place because of you.  

Steph you were such an awesome and caring person, you will be missed sorely by all. Our hearts go out to your family.

My deepest heartfelt sympathies to her entire family, especially to you Heather. I am so very sorry.  I worked closely with Stephanie for several years, but she was much more to me then a co-worker, she was a true friend. Her strong love and faith for God sustained her through many dark times and we would talk often about things not of this earth. She was able to endure more pain (physical and emotional) then most and still have a smile for everyone. During some of the darker times in my life in the past few years the first person I would call upon for understanding,advice,and real love and concern was Stephanie. She never let me down,EVER. If i really needed to talk with her, she was there with encouragement and empathy. She was truly a treasure. I will miss you for the rest of my life Stephanie. Your free now Doll Face, ( something I always called her ) Rest in Peace.

To my adopted sister, who filled the void of someone who cared and I knew who loved me as much as I loved her.  We were more than just friends, we were sisters. I was lucky enough to know Dave for 20+ years, courtesy of his great wife, Lori. I learned how a 'real' man took care of his family & that extended to her wife's bff too. Memories of his lemon pepper wings after a long day in the pool, many xmas eves as all of our kids were with their moms, Dave sitting in the garage, watching the world go by. He always made me feel at home. I saw first hand the love he had for his family. The world lost a very special human being but we will never lose his light.

Dave was a great man, someone I would look up to. He was funny, witty, and full of life. As much as I would think I knew about life and my profession, he would always one up me with solutions. A smart man that will always be remembered

🌹 I grew up with Dave Spelde and Craig Matson since the age of 12 in South Holland, Illinois. One memory in particular that stands out was when us goofy kids stood by the bridge on Calumet Drive after a flooding rain fall and we had a blast letting the cars shoot waves of water over us as they passed. We laughed like crazy that day. You will be missed Dave, but we all will have our memories of how you touched our lives. Have fun in heaven my friend.
