Margaret Ann Bowe (maiden name Huse). Also went by Maggie. Born April 24, 1938 in Omaha, NE, Passed away February 17, 2012 Denver, CO Finished Junior High at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic School in Omaha 1952. Graduated High School at Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart in Omaha 1956. Graduated College at Creighton University Omaha,, NE 1960. She was married for 26 years to Robert Bowe. She was preceded in death by father, Frank Huse (1905-1986), mother, Margaret Huse (1905-2003), brother, Richard Huse (1934-1998), sister, Barbara Huse (1950-1998). Survived by children Cathy Bowe of Denver, CO ., Robert Bowe, Jr. of Brindisi, Italy, Tony Bowe of Loveland, CO, grandchildren Kevin and Sean Bowe of Loveland, CO, son in law Al Ortlip, of Denver, CO, daughter in law Susie Bowe of Brindisi, Italy, sister in law Shirley Huse of La Vista, NE, and several nieces and nephews in the Omaha, NE area. Prior to starting the family she worked as a copy writer for TV station KETV in Omaha, NE and became a full time homemaker after her first child was born. She was involved in community theatre in Garden City, KS and in Columbus, NE. She was very active as President of the Mrs. Jaycees in Columbus, NE (received their leadership award), the Knights of Columbus auxiliary and in school PTO. She was very involved in the ARC as her sister, Bobbie was born with Down†™s Syndrome. She was an excellent seamstress and even better cook. Her cinnamon rolls and fudge were legendary- we had former neighbors from 30 years ago tell us how much they miss her and her Christmas cinnamon rolls and fudge! She will be remembered mostly as the best loving Mom and Grandma we kids could ever ask for, her strength in the face of adversity, her unfailing belief in her family, her friendship to all and her selflessness. Cremation was performed and inurnment is at St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery in Omaha, NE.
