Margaret R. Cano from Castroville, Ca passed away on November 15, 2022 at the age of 79. Margaret was the core of our family, whom had unconditional love for everyone. She loved shopping, attending car shows and cruising with her husband Ruben in their ‘51 Chevy (Blondie). She loved spending quality time with her children, grandchildren, and especially her great grandchildren. She made an effort to attend her grandkids’ football and baseball games. She always made an effort to cater to her families needs, especially during the holidays. Margaret is proceeded in death by her Father Raymundo and Mother Asuncion Rivas, sisters Rachel Jimenez and MaryHelen Diaz; and brother Raymond Rivas. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Ruben Cano, her Daughters Valerie (Joe) Padilla , Michelle (Cruz) Jauregui, and son Ruben (Belem) Cano; Grandchildren Monique, Erick, Adriana, Tonie, Jayson, Yvette, Di’Angelo, Ruben III, & great grandkids Jayden, Jaycob, Audrina, & Brielle. Services will be held for Margaret Cano on 11/29/22 at 1 pm. Location: Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church in Castroville, Ca. Burial to follow at the Castroville Cemetery in Moss Landing Cemetery.
