Margaret S. Eaton, age 92, of Gloversville passed away on Friday December 25, 2009 at Nathan Littauer Nursing Home. She was born in Galway, NY on May 3, 1917 the daughter of the late Frank and Theresa Stangle. In 1935, she married George W. Eaton and they shared many years together until his passing on January 14, 1978. Margaret worked for the White Holland House as a waitress for 38 years. She enjoyed garage and rummage sales. Margret had many friends and loved her grandchildren. Margaret is survived by her daughter: Lois Montanye of Broadalbin; 3 grandsons Christopher Gifford Rebecca of Broadalbin, Michael Gifford Sylvia of Nevarre Beach, FL and Patrick Gifford Michelle of Mayfield; a step granddaughter Marcia Hollenbeck; 15 great grandchildren: Connor, Kylie, Taylor, Gabriel, Alexandra, Nick, Samantha, Josh, Melissa, Brandon, Ethan, Imia, Gabriel, Matthew and Ryan. Additional survivors include two nieces: Lori Piska and Nancy Gallager. There will be no services. Cremation will take place at Parkview Crematorium in Schenectady. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jeffords & Stewart Funeral Home; 85 West Main Street; Broadalbin.
