Lake Sinclair: Margaret T. Hicks, 87, passed away at her son’s residence in Douglasville, GA on December 14, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, 17 December 2009 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 16 December 2009 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Margaret was born September 24, 1923 in Macon, GA to Howard and Gracie Tucker. She was preceded in death by her husband Roman Harrison Hicks, her parents, two brothers, two brother-in-laws, and one sister-in-law. Margaret retired from Robins AFB in March 1971 and she and her husband decided to live at their lake property permanently. It was there that Roman passed away after their 62 year marriage. She is survived by her three children, Roman Harrison Elaine Hicks, Jr., of Tallapoosa, GA; Brenda Kay George Brady of Pateros, WA, Ronnie Lamar Gail Hicks of Douglasville, GA; Ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Four sisters, Jeanette Otto of Oswego, NY; Delores Hansel Hester of Marietta, GA; Joyce Omo of Dublin, CA, JoAnn Frank Sullivan of Warner Robins, GA; Three brothers, James Helen Tucker of Macon, GA; Larry Linda Tucker of Interlachen, FL; Gary Linda Tucker of Juliette, GA; a sister-in-law, Edith Tucker of Panama City, FL and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Society P.O. Box 1023, Warner Robins, GA 31099. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of arrangements.
