Margaret Williams Higgins, age 79, died Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at the White Oak Manor Assisted Living in Waxhaw, NC. A native of Charlotte, NC, she was born February 4, 1943, to the late Horace and Mary Williams. She is survived by her two sons: Donald Higgins and Kenneth Higgins; sister, Mary George; and three nephews: Bryan George, Alan George, and Michael George. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Higgins. Margaret will be remembered for her sense of humor and strength. A Celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2022 in the chapel of Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28203. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society: www.cancer.org. Feel free to leave the family your condolences via the Tribute Wall provided.
