Margaret Hoyt Peggy Hoyt died unexpectedly at 1:00 a.m. on January 10 after living for 38 months in secure memory care. She is survived by her husband Tom, daughter Julie Fadling, son Brian (Renay) Hoyt, and seven grandchildren. Her brother Jim (Katherine) Larpenteur and sisters Mary Beth Healy, Pat Dawson and Susan (Bob) Wells also survive her. A service and celebration of her life is planned for Saturday, January 26 at Saint Paul's Catholic Church, 1201 Satre Street, Eugene. The Rosary will start at 12:00p.m. followed by a 1:00 p.m. service, a farewell gathering and Bingo. Peggy Larpenteur was born in Portland, Oregon on May 8, 1941. She attended All Saints grade school, St. Mary's High School, Sorbonne University in France, and finished her education with a Master's Degree in Public Policy and Planning from the University of Oregon. Peggy helped start the Relief Nursery, was President of OSU Moms, a fabulous cook and hostess, an avid bridge player, and an accurate putter on the golf course. In Lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Relief Nursery, 1720 W. 25th Ave., Eugene, OR 97405. Tom will continue to help families cope with the challenges of caring for a loved one with brain disease. Arrangements entrusted to Musgrove Family Mortuary.
