Margaret Ann Hudson, 82, of New Raymer, CO and formerly of Evans, CO passed away at home on Saturday, August 18, 2018. She was born on April 6, 1936 in Phillipsburg, KS to George and Rose (Burst) Parker where she grew up and attended school. Margaret was the oldest of four children; she was a loving wife to her husband Gene for 24 years; a devoted mother to her four children and a doting grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Margaret spent many years in the Service and Hospitality business. Her love for hosting and cooking started at a young age. She worked at the Producers Sale Barn, Ramada Inn Restaurant, owned and operated The Family Corner Restaurant in Burlington, CO and retired at the age of 62 from Perkins Restaurant in Greeley, CO. She enjoyed gardening, ceramics, listening to music, dancing and spending time with her family. Some of her favorite things were her dogs, roses and orchids. Margaret is survived by her husband, Clarence E. "Gene" Hudson , daughter Roseann M. (Daniel) Mendenhall of New Raymer, CO, Richard W. Lemon of Evans, CO, John G. Lemon of Hoxie, KS, Voneta S. (Kevin) Unruh of Greeley, CO, 9-step children, 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren, sister Mary Ellen (LeRoy) Roeder of Prairie View, KS and brother George A. (Phyllis Lutjeharms) Parker of Phillipsburg, KS. She is preceded in death by her parents, baby sister Grace May and ex-husbands Richard W. Roeder, Donald E. Lemon and Dale E. Eberhart. A graveside service and inurnment will take place at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, North of Phillipsburg, KS on September 8, 2018 at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the "Alzheimer's Association" in care of Adamson Mortuary, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
