Margaret Hunt Lindley Whitten
October 29th, 1928 - September 5th, 2019
Obituary Mrs. Margaret Hunt Linley Whitten, 90, of Orangeburg SC passed away on September 5, 2019. She was the daughter of late Fulton R. Hunt and Nancy T. Hunt. Margaret was born in the Canaan Community, but the family moved to Branchville at an early age. She graduated from Branchville High School 1945, with honors. then attended South Carolina Baptist Hospital and College for Nurses, graduating on January 1, 1949 at the top of her class. She is survived by one son, B.R. Linley of Cordova, SC; four grandsons, Rhett Linley of North, SC; Larry Linley, Aaron Linley, and Joshua Linley of Cordova, SC; four grandchildren, Austen Linley of West Columbia, SC; Isabelle Linley, Isaac Linley and Elijah Linley of North, SC. Margaret Hunt Linley Whitten was predeceased by a daughter, Nancy P. Linley and a son, Jeffrey W. Whitten. Special thanks to Mrs. Debbie Stillinger for the many visits and acts of kindness.
