Margaret Ann Luce

Margaret Ann Luce, 81, of Cocoa, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April, 20, 2019. Margaret was born to William John Simon and Dorothy Delia Blackburn, April 18, 1938, in Flint, Michigan. She graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic High School in 1956 and attended Charles S. Mott Community College. She leaves behind two daughters: Susanna (John) Crowley of Cocoa, Florida and Catherine (Ronald) Latuszek of Grayling, Michigan. She was a loving grandmother to four grandchildren, T. Alan Needham III, Benjamin Needham, Mathew (Katie Lynn) Latuszek and Audra Crowley. One step-grandson Brad (Jodi) Latuszek and two step great-granddaughters, Izabella and Juliette Latuszek. She also leaves to cherish her memory one sibling, Robert (Barbara) Simon. One niece, Leanne (Matthew) Thomas, one nephew William Simon and a great niece and nephew, Mabyn and Harrison Thomas. She will be remembered as an exceptionally kind hearted and caring person. Margaret left a legacy that she instilled in all of us and was the matriarch of our family. She was preceded in death by William J. Simon, (Father), Dorothy Delia Blackburn, (Mother), and T. Alan Needham III, (Grandson). Margaret was a Medical Transcriptionist for 52 years until she retired in 2011. She had a passion for the Arts and began painting in 1978, creating beautiful portraits, landscapes and flowers. Margaret enjoyed spending time with family and friends, shopping at Bealls, antiquing and thrifting. She also enjoyed sharing home cooked meals, desserts and a hot cup of tea. Margaret was a role model and defined what our family is all about. Margaret wished to be interred with her parents in Okemos, Michigan.
