Margaret "Suzie" I. Moss

The Masonic Center 521 North Street SE, Tumwater, WA Sunday, June 17, 2007 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Margaret Inez “Suzie” Moss, 84, a longtime resident of Tumwater, died at her home on Wednesday, June 13, 2007. She was born April 18, 1923 in Lula, Georgia to Ernest Willie and Clora Lou (Savage) Stephens. She graduated from Hall County High School in Gainesville, Georgia in 1940. On September 6, 1944 she married Jennings B. Moss in Gainesville. He survives at the family home. Suzie retired from Southgate Drug Store in Tumwater where she was a clerk for many years. She had lived in Gainesville, Georgia, Missoula, Montana and Salida, Colorado before moving to Tumwater in the late 1950’s. Suzie was a member of the Holly Springs Baptist Church in Gainesville. She liked to play the Lottery and traveling. Suzie will be lovingly remember by her sons, Robert of Tumwater and Steve of Olympia; adopted sons, John Munson of Tumwater and Brother Edmund Ebbers, O.S.B. of St. Martins Abbey; daughter, Anne of Tumwater; adopted daughter, Billie Jo Pace of Tumwater and brother, Bill Stephens of Boise, Idaho. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., Sunday, June 17, 2007 at the Masonic Center, 521 North Street SE, Tumwater. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at Mills and Mills Memorial Park, 5725 Littlerock Rd. SW, Tumwater. Memorial donations are suggested to: National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 192 Nickerson St., Ste 100, Seattle, WA 98109.
