In Memory of Margaret Annie Newman Margaret A. Newman, 83, a loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on 30 September 2013 surrounded by her family, and now joins her daughter, Anne; her brother and her parents in her Heavenly home. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ralph; her children, Edward Newman of Indialantic and his wife Evelyn; Janet Lindsley of West Melbourne and her husband Scott; and grandchildren, Annie and Jennifer of West Melbourne. Margaret Annie Newman was born at home in Rennerdale, Pa on 16 March 1930. She graduated from High School in Burgettstown, Pa and lived on a farm in Frankfurt Springs, Pa. She worked as a telephone operator for Murdocksville Independent Telephone Co., where she met her husband Ralph. She married Ralph at Zion Lutheran Church in Coraopolis, Pa on 31 March 1951. They had 3 children: Edward, born in Sewickley, Pa.; Anne, born in Dayton, Oh; and Janet, born in Melbourne, Fl. She was the beloved grandmother to Janet's two daughters Annie and Jennifer, and she was a grandmother figure through the years to Edward's stepchildren Dawn, Chad and Jeremy. She lived in Indialantic, Fl for over 53 years and was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida for 53 years. Visitation hours will be held at Beach Funeral Home - East, Indian Harbour Beach, on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 5-7pm. A funeral service will be held at Ascension Lutheran Church on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 1:30 pm.
