Margaret Theresa Prindle Jan. 9, 1927 - July 26, 2012 Resident of Walnut Creek Margaret Prindle, the youngest of four children, was born in Heppner, Oregon to John and Rose Mitchell. The family moved to San Francisco in 1939. She graduated from Immaculate Conception Academy. While attending the University of California at Berkeley, she met Arthur Prindle. They were married in San Francisco on June 20, 1953 and moved to Walnut Creek in 1956. She worked in the San Francisco Superior Court for 15 years. She enjoyed camping, traveling and caring for a number of roses in her garden. She was a member of Immaculata Guild and Book Club at St. Mary's Church for many years prior to the building of St. Stephens and has been active in other church activities there. She was preceded in death by her oldest son, Philip. She is survived by her husband, her sister Kathleen, sons Brian and John, five grandchildren; Jarrod, Emily, Wesley, Amy and Jessica. There will be a memorial mass held on Tuesday, August 7 at 11 AM at St. Stephen's Church, 1101 Keaveny Ct., Walnut Creek. It will be followed by a reception in the Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the St. Stephen's St. Vincent de Paul Society or to the Hospice of the East Bay, 3470 Buskirk Ave., Pleasant Hill, CA 94523.
