Mrs. Margaret A. "Marge" Schultz, 80, of Washington Street, Fort Plain, NY died peacefully on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown. Born in Manhattan she was the daughter of the late James and Josephine Guariglia. Marge moved to Fort Plain over 30 years ago. She along with her husband, Carl owned and operated the Rendevous Inn in Fort Plain for over 20 years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Carl Schultz Jr.; and her two sisters, Marie and JoAnne. Survivors include her daughter, Jami LaBadia; two sisters, Camille and Louise; two grandchildren, Joseph LaBadia and Marjory LaBadia; one great granddaughter, Jillian McGowen; nieces, nephews and cousins. Services for Marge will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider doing a good deed for a person, or donating to the charity of one's choice.
