The Margaret Smith Family, My meeting this lovely lady was such a short time ago, I only had afew months of knowing her. A very gracious lovely Lady indeed, was one we could openly immediately share our faith together as I felt out Spirits connected quickly ! I last saw her in our medical office. She was being assisted back to her apartment, her infectious smile was on her face, and wanted to get home to rest; as she was often sitting or walking, around our grounds and we would meet and sit and visit. We exchanged in conversation that we would talk at another time when she had rested. I’m sad we were not able to do that because I then read she was able to pass from this life into the Arms of her Heavenly Lord and Savior. Barbara Martin

Dear Carol, Bonnie, Rodney, and Families, Our condolences on the loss of your Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. Too many years have passed since we had the pleasure of Aunt Markie's company. We will always fondly remember the time we spent with her even though it was too brief. We will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Tom & Evelyn Moore

My Aunt Markie was a special lady to me! In my younger years after my mother passed away, we enjoyed visiting her, my uncle and cousins in Rhode Island. In Colorado we visited during a skiing trip and then later in life we reconnected by email, texting, phone calls, and visiting her a couple of times at her assisted living facility — she was the excellent host treating us to lunch in the cafe at the facility and remembering times gone by and 2 years ago visiting and sharing in her grandson’s wedding!! Her special friend was Jesus and she always had words of encouragement and shared promises from the Bible —-we shared prayers for her family and my family— she is missed and will see her soon when Jesus’ comes to take us home to be with Him and our loved ones who have gone before us. Deepest sympathy to Bonnie, Carol and Rodney, and their families.
