Stephens, Margaret Louise Age 94, of Aurora, CO, formerly of Jackson, MI, passed away peacefully at home Friday, May 24, 2019. She was born June 14, 1924, in Buffalo, NY, to Stewart and Florida (Bast) Newton who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, William; two children William (Mona) Stephens of Longmont, CO, and Sharon (Mark) Clements of Adrian, MI; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Marge was an avid genealogist, a member of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Colonial Dames, and a graduate of Flint Central High School and Michigan State College. Prior to moving to Denver in 1980 Bill and Marge lived in Jackson, MI where they attended First Congregational Church. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at Augustana Lutheran Church in Denver on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 11:00 am. Donations in memory of Marge may be made to Augustana Lutheran Church, 5000 E Alameda Ave, Denver CO, 80246.
