Margarita Nava

Margarita Nava, 67, of Lucerne, passed away October 14, 2019 in Greeley, Colorado. She was born to Fabian and Joaquina (Rangel) Garcia on August 18, 1952 in San Benito, Texas. At a young age, she and her family migrated between Texas and Colorado for work and farming, finally settling in Colorado in 1957. She graduated from Greeley West High School. On July 3, 1972 she married her husband, Sabino Nava in Greeley, Colorado. Margarita loved the outdoors, fishing and traveling to Texas to visit family and friends. But above all, she loved and adored her children, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking for her family as much as she could. Nothing got in the way of her and her Denver Broncos, she was a huge fan. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Margarita is survived by her husband of 47 years, Sabino; children, Sabino Nava Jr., Federico (Julie) Nava, Elaine (Tomas) Marquez and Raquel (Justin) Brown; grandchildren, Rebecca and Kaitlyn Nava; siblings, Joe (Annabel) Garcia, Gilbert Garcia, Jessie (Sherry) Garcia, Jose (Susan) Garcia, Angela (Lupe) Serrano, Maria Romayor, Fabian Jr. (Brigida) Garcia and a large enxtended family and friends. Margarita was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Carmen, Theodore and Anastacio Life Celebration Service will be held 10:30 am with Rosary beginning at 10:00 am, Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Avenue in Greeley.
