Margie (Marge) Barry was born January 12, 1938, to Albert and Maxine Roelofs in Slayton, MN. She was the 1st of 3 children (younger sister Carol and younger brother Al). She grew up on a farm in Chandler, MN and lived there until graduating high school. Upon graduation, she married Tom Barry who was stationed at Chandler Air Force Station. On October 26, 1992, she suffered a severe stoke, and was retired with a disability pension. Marge and Tom have been faithful members of the Patrick AFB Chapel attending weekly services, and Bible Study groups. As a twenty year member of the Brevard County Stroke Club, she was a continuing inspiration to other stroke survivors. In the commissary, Chapel, Stroke Club, and numerous other acquaintances, lifelong friendships were formed and treasured.
