After a courageous battle with cancer, Margie (Aldana) Benitez, 68, died peacefully on Friday, Nov. 4, 2016, in Las Vegas, Nevada surrounded by her loving family. She was born in East Los Angeles, California on January 15, 1948 to Charlie and Concha Aldana. She was a strong and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt to all who loved her. She is survived by her husband Henry Benitez, Four sons: Raul Torres (Kiko), Mario Torres, Freddy Torres, and Henry Benites (Junior); Thirteen grandchildren: Reina, Christina, Ashley, Louie, Mario Jr., Lorraine, Kimberly, Freddy Jr., William, Alicia, Sammy, Vincent, and Samara; Fifteen great-grandchildren Michael, Angelina, Arianna, Antoinette, Audrey, Silas, Elias, Gabriel, Julian, Ethan, and Aiden; Three sisters: Sylvia Vitela, Patsy Aldana, and Maryann Vitela; One brother Charlie Aldana. She is preceded in death by her mother Concha Aldana, her father Charlie Aldana and brothers Tommy (Sammy) Aldana and Danny Aldana. Services will be held on Saturday, November 12, at the Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services from 1-4pm.
