Marguerite Dahmer
November 28th, 1921 - December 30th, 2009
Marguerite W. Dahmer, 88, passed away Wednesday, December 30th at her home with her family at her side. She was born in Landes, W.V. where she was a 4-H All Star growing up and graduated from Potomac State School and West Virginia University. She was one of the first married school teachers in Vassar, Michigan where she taught home economics. Marguerite was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cocoa Beach and an avid golfer. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Roy; daughter, Ann Dahmer and son-in-law, Kevin Geiser; brother, Jack (Janet) Weese; sister, Jeanette (Browning) Sions; aunts, Dora Van Meter and Nina Sabo and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her younger sister, Mary Alice Whitehead. A Memorial Service will be held 3 P.M. Sunday, January 3rd, 2010, at the First United Methodist Church of Cocoa Beach. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice, 8060 Spyglass Hill Road, Viera, Fl. 32940; or the First United Methodist Church of Cocoa Beach, 3300 N. Atlantic Ave, .Cocoa Beach, Fl. 32931; or the American Cancer Society of Southwest Fl. 1260 U.S. Hwy #1 Rockledge, Fl. 32955.
