Marguerite H. Ferrari, 89, died March 24, 2012 at Buena Vista Care Center, Santa Barbara. Born July 17, 1922 in San Francisco, the daughter of Edmond and Marcelline (Phillips) Schnurbusch, she married Charles W. Ferrari in November of 1941 at Willows, CA. At that time she and her husband moved to Santa Barbara. She grew up in Willows, CA and graduated from Willows High School. She graduated from San Francisco School of Art and Fashion Design. She was a former employee of Seaside Oil, Santa Barbara, Jostens, Santa Barbara and Bank of America Santa Barbara. She was a member of Saint Barbara's Parish and a volunteer with the Secular Franciscans. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Ferrari and son Charles E. Ferrari. She is survived by her daughter Marcie Wood, Manhattan, KS, son E. and his wife, Jim and Joni Ferrari, Santa Barbara, daughter Mary Manning, Brandon, OR, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A rosary will be held Wednesday March 28, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at McDermott-Crockett Mortuary, 2020 Chapala Street and a Graveside service on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Barbara parish at the Old Mission.
