September 4th, 1914 - October 24th, 2012
Margaret Brown Hendershott Resident of Walnut Creek In Walnut Creek October 24 2012 at age 98. She was a former resident of Los Angeles and native of Colorado. Beloved wife of the late Louis M. Hendershott; mother of Marjorie Lunt; daughter of Nellie Ellen Brown and Frederick Brown; step daughter or George A. Hill; sister of Georgellen Smith, Betty Hobberman, Grace Leibsock. Also survived by grandchildren, Adrienna Lunt-Edwards, Heather Williams (Troy) Gordon Lunt, Nathaniel Lunt (Cristen), Ann Lunt and Ronnie Lunt; Great grandchildren, Brooke and Candace Edwards, Parker, Makaela, Aleris Willams and Louis Lunt. She was a member of Rossmoor Music Melody Makers, Rebeccas and ARF. Marguerite grew up on a beautiful farm in Johnstown, Colorado. She enjoyed ice skating on the lake in the winter and horseback riding in the summer. She had wonderful memories of her childhood. Marguerite graduated from Johnstown H.S. and Presbyterian Hospital (Denver). She was a Registered Nurse, and was the 125th registered respiratory therapist. Marguerite enjoyed family and friends. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Friday, November 2 at OAK PARK HILLS CHAPEL, 3111 N. Main St., Walnut Creek. Interment will follow at Oakmont Cemetery, Lafayette. Contributions in her memory may be made to ARF or The Sturge-Weber foundation, P.O. Box 418, Mt. Freedom, N.J. 07970-0418 in Gordon Lunt's name.
