Isabel Lamphere

Maria Isabel Lamphere, 93 of Albuquerque, New Mexico.  She was called home to be with our lord in heaven. She passed away peacefully on August 4, 2024. 

Isabel was born March 18, 1931, in Gallup New Mexico to Santa Cruz and Aurora Baca. She was the youngest of 7 siblings. 

Isabel was blessed with a close-knit family of 4 surviving children. Sharon & (spouse) Dan Benavidez. Roger Lamphere Jr. Loretta & (spouse) Joe Clemenza, James Lamphere.

Grandchildren, Tiffani Jojola, Kassandra & (spouse) Art Chavez. Melanie Lamphere, Vanessa Lamphere.

Great grandchildren, Jonathan Chavez, Madilynn Chavez, Jayden Jojola.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Roger S. Lamphere, her parents Santa Cruz & Aurora Baca. All siblings. Grandson, Christopher Jojola.

Isabel lived a good life traveling to many places with Roger and their children, but Albuquerque was always home to her. She had many attributes, one being an excellent cook " less is better" and made the best pies and pastries. Her many recipes will continue to be enjoyed by family members. Her memory will be forever in our hearts.

Services for Isabel will be held on August 22, 2024, at St. Annes Catholic Church

8:15AM - Rosary 

9:00AM - Funeral mass

Followed by reception at Sharon's home-

Burial to be held August 23, 2024, at 10AM at the Sante Fe National Cemetary.
